We'll complete The Outsiders this week by reading Chapters 5-12. The link to the Reflections for these chapters is below, and we'll have a test on Friday. Reflections, Ch. 5-12, are due at the end of the day Thursday. Here's how it pans out:
We begin our reading of S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders this week. This novel, and the viewing of the film, will take us to just about the end of the school year (with a break from reading next week during STAAR testing). Here are the vocabulary words for this week:
We complete our research, analysis, and writing of a children's book this week. The final product counts as a major assessment grade. The working packet (see last week's post for link) counts for two Individual Work grades. Do well. Be excellent.
